Job Title: Construction Project ManagerLocation: Greater Milwaukee MetroJob Description: We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing construction projects across various verticals, with a preference for candidates with experience in structural steel construction. However, candidates with experience in other verticals or commercial construction markets will also be considered.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against established goals.Procure materials and equipment necessary for project execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, address any issues or concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Lead project meetings, including kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and closeout meetings, and effectively communicate project status updates to stakeholders.Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals, and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure project specifications are met.Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to ensure products meet industry standards and client expectations.Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with experience in structural steel construction.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in vertical or commercial construction.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.Knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and standards related to construction.Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel to project sites and attend meetings as required.Professional certifications in project management or construction management are desirable but not required.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects.
