E SSENTIAL F UNCTIONS : An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Acts as an Ambassador for Customer relationships for management. Works with customers to develop a clear understanding of customer approvals, dissatisfaction, and suggestions for improvement to report to management. Works with management to develop customer strategy to maintain, improve, and/or if necessary, repair customer relationships. Performs remote assistance to support systems specialists on site with programing support, provides remote troubleshooting assistance with on site systems specialists, provides support for customers. Travels when necessary, on both scheduled and emergency visits to meet the needs of local and National Account Customers. Review scope of work, contract drawings, and specifications to ensure proper execution of Building Automation and Energy Management System Installations and Upgrades. Ability to work and coordinate with project team to plan, schedule, prioritize, and execute work. Work with engineering support staff to develop control system drawings, equipment schedules, floor plans and graphics. Develop system database, custom programs and graphics as required to meet the design intent. Support commissioning/installation team as necessary to insure proper installation and performance of the system. Coordinate with commissioning/installation team to document field changes and compile project closeout documents. Archive all project documents per company standards upon completion of the project. Coordinate with MEP contractors and equipment suppliers as necessary to improve an existing Integrated Energy Management and Control System design. Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives. Ensure regulatory compliance across a range of federal, state, and local agencies. Ensure that all quality and safety standards, specifications and policies are met, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiencies. Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance. Support a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and site safety as well as other aspects of the business. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, military equivalent experience or 5 plus e years of relevant work experience in the field or relate area that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the job. 5+ Years of complex Energy Management and Control System Design. 10 years of Building Automation System Design/Installation/Programming/Service experience. Product specific training in Automated Logic, Alerton, Delta Controls, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Tridium or any other industry leaders in Building Automation Industry a plus. Excellent Communication Skills, must have experience communicating in technical environment and ability to provide an excellent source of communication as front-line communicator between Albireo and our Customers Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including sequence of operations, technical product literature, programming manuals and specifications. Knowledge of building mechanical and electrical equipment functions and use, HVAC system control applications, control system hardware and software products. Knowledge of standard building automation system communication network protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, TUX, and LON. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation.
