Discover your exciting roleThe Project Engineer – TFS located in Lehi, UT is responsible for supporting the management and administration of construction project activities in mechanical, electrical, and process piping scopes. The Project Engineer is responsible for scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, keeping up with project relevant documents and providing detailed information to the field on large construction projects.
Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesDevelops a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the construction contract documents (plans, specifications, schedule, etc.)  Prepares complete, accurate and timely project documentation such as submittals and RFIs and maintains the associated tracking logs  Accountable for receiving approved submittals from Architects or Engineers and notifies the Project Team of potential cost and/or schedule impacts  Assists the Project Team in the timely completion of all required project close-out documents per contract, including turnover packages, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, owner training, punch lists, and other related items  Distributes contract documents to downstream subcontractors, including drawings, specifications, general conditions, and final requirement documentation. Include any accepted alternates or addendums with documents  Schedules all required construction meetings with required personnel, subcontractors, Architects and Owners, as specified by the Project Manager  Attends Owner/Architect pre-bid, project and closeout meetings, as specified by the Project Manager  Assists the Project Manager, Superintendent and Procurement with purchasing, expediting and receiving material and equipment for the project  Manages the tracking, reproduction, and distribution of all drawings, specifications and sketches and revisions  Attends and participates in construction and other meetings as required; taking and issuing meeting minutes as required Other duties as assigned Show your expertiseHigh School Diploma or GED required  Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred  2+ years of experience Experience working on construction projects (preferably Semiconductor and/or Pharmaceutical facility projects)  Demonstrated ability to understand drawings and specifications, contract documents, materials, means and methods  Knowledge of accounting principles, estimating, construction costs, scheduling, and purchasing Total Facility Solutions (TFS) provides solutions that are designed to deliver mechanical, electrical, and process piping systems to all markets.
