Project Cost Estimator

Position Summary: The Project Cost Estimator will be responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with company projects and professionally communicating with customers. Specifically, the Project Cost Estimator will take into consideration all relevant factors in the plan such as materials, labor and equipment, as well as related expenses including taxes and incidental costs in order to develop cost estimates for residential and commercial customers. The Project Cost Estimator will work on individual item costing, installed pricing, DIY pricing and do bid take off from plans.

Previous construction estimating experience requiredMust be able to communicate professionally with customersMust be adept in mathematics and have keen analytical skillsRead and understand blueprints, designs and drawingsBe able to manage tight deadlinesEnsure construction and installation plans meets Danielle Fence's quality standardsMust have a basic understanding of fencing and various types of fence applicationsBe able to research online to find specific information such as builder informationand request for proposalsMust be able to cold call and set up meetings between the Danielle Fence salespersonnel and decision makers at potential customersAssist in other department related functions as neededJob Qualifications 3 year clean driving record-Valid Florida driver's licenseMust possess an intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel; understand how the program works and be able to write formulasSupplier quoting and negotiating skillsManage quote history files and archive file systemWork Location: In person office setting
