International Drilling Equipment is seeking a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects for the IDE Sales and Rental Department. This position will oversee the planning and execution of projects for our customers and personnel, while managing the resources and stakeholders involved. Projects at IDE include sales, rentals, service and tooling; each of these is considered a separate project due to the uniqueness of the client's needs.  Our people and our company are as dependable as our foundation drilling equipment. Reports to: Sales Manager Primary job responsibilities: Oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects from beginning to end. The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within the prescribed time frame and scope. Project/ Product Coordinator: Manages the overall coordination of projects and products, ensuring that they are completed on time and completed to the required quality standards. Planning: Works closely with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives and develops a detailed project plan that outlines the timeline, budget, and resources required for a successful project. Resource Management: Allocates resources, manages the project team, and ensures that everyone is working towards the same goals. Risk Management: Identifies, assesses, and manages risks that may impact projects and develops mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Stakeholder Management and Communication: Works closely with stakeholders, including clients, project sponsors, and team members, and facilitates communication to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned on project progress, risks, and changes. Performance Monitoring: Monitors project performance and provides regular reports to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and issues.  Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of project coordination experience in foundation drilling equipment or a related field (possible related fields include heavy equipment dealerships, construction coordination, equipment rental/sales, and import/export of equipment). Valid Driver's License Ability to operate a forklift occasionally Project management certification (nice to have) Technical qualifications with equipment (nice to have) Skills: Experience with CRM software (Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics)  Demonstrated ability to coordinate domestic and international freight carriers and customs brokers regarding shipments, including compliance with international regulations Excellent logistics tracking and high-level attention to detail to resolve any issues, delays or freight damage/loss Strong communication and collaboration skills to provide updates to stakeholders and resolve any problems Skilled at developing good working relationships with cross-department stakeholders and supporting a positive team culture Skilled in managing relationships with vendors and negotiating pricing/terms for freight services Excel in a fast paced environment where things move quickly and changes are common Ability to quickly learn the unique aspects of each client or project Ability to maintain accurate records of all freight-related activities Knowledgeable regarding systems including equipment data management/ entry/maintenance, equipment roster data integrity, system data upkeep, and SharePoint data integrity Ability to conduct periodic reviews of freight costs and performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Work Hours and Environment: Working hours are M-F 9am to 5:30pm  Work Environment is an office that is air-conditioned/heated according to the season This position reports to the Rural Hall, NC, location This position will also include being in the warehouse when needed. Benefits: IDE offers a competitive benefits package for full-time employees. You will be eligible to enroll after 90 days of employment.
