Kimley-Horn currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Lead with experience managing Transit projects to join our Seattle, Washington (WA) team.
Develop, oversee, monitor, and support the work of staff and subconsultants, particularly in project controls over the following areas: Cost estimating, budget development, and monthly cash flow projections Project schedule development and management Monitoring and reporting on budgets and schedules Managing document control systems Developing grant applications for Federal, State, & Local funding sources Assisting clients with administering grants and completing grant specific reports Developing and implementing management plans and procedures in accordance with FTA requirements and guidance Analyzing and prioritizing projects for funding Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business, Engineering, Planning, Construction Management or a related program 4+ years of relevant industry experience Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to write clear reports and communicate findings Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines High attention to detail Critical thinking and analytical skills Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment Ability to work independently and as a team Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the rail and/or transit industry, Experience with FTA Capital Investment Grant (CIG) projects and/or other federal agencies (eg: FHWA) Experience with project scheduling software (such as Primavera P6) Experience in grant writing, administration, and management Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
