This includes organizing incoming project requests and communicating with appropriate representatives to get jobs ready for the sales team or other associates related to the job. The successful candidate will work closely with their team and their customers to create and assist in coordinating of the overall project which may include bill of material and project cost. Additionally, this position is responsible for sharing lessons learned from previous projects and assisting the project team with any issues.Essential Job Functions:Send out requests for material and pricing to the appropriate representative.Communicate status of projects to the teams to include any changes that relate to the project(s).Assists customers in person, over the phone or internet with Summit product questions and ordersPays close attention to detail to ensure project success as measured by outlined scope, budget and timelinePartner with CSRs and Service Center Managers or other Summit associates as needed to maintain levels of excellence throughout SummitBuild and maintain internal and external customer relationshipsRequired Qualifications and Experience:Strong customer service orientationStrong organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and writtenTime management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple prioritiesFlexibility – ability to effectively adapt to changeQualificationsBeneficial Skills and Experience:1-2 years of customer service experience in the electrical distribution industryKnowledge of related productsRelationships with local manufacturer's representativesPhysical Challenges:Consistent sitting for hours at a timeConsistent use of keyboard and mouseMust be able to lift 5 pounds on a regular and consistent basisAbility to climb stairs on occasionMajority of job is located inside office during regular office hours of operationFLSA Status: Non-ExemptAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Not sure if this position is right for you?
