Job Description

Position Purpose: This role will work closely with the CEO and Executive Team, enabling them to work at the most effective level with internal and external stakeholders. This role will serve as a complementary partner to the leaders they work with, which include chief executive officers (CEOs), presidents, and vice presidents with the objective of assisting with communication, problem solving, innovation, driving process and supporting decision making. This role requires the willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role, and requires the ability to maintain the complete trust of all with whom they interact. This role will have the opportunity to think strategically, develop key processes, pull necessary data, create compelling presentations and comprehensive business review materials that span across various functions. The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a force multiplier for the Executive Team while being willing to step in to manage ad hoc processes and strategic initiatives as needed.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Act as a point of contact between the Executive Team and employees or other stakeholders (Veolia Group) and manage cadence for the Executive Team and leadership teams (e.g. Employee Resource Groups, Transformation Leadership community). Provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork. Plan, coordinate, and keep contents of a meeting focused on the meeting objective. Manage monthly Executive Committee meetings and subcommittees (Agenda and meeting content management). Facilitate meetings for strategic planning and global collaboration among the company's executive-level employees. Gate-keep and monitor the flow of multi-platform communications to and from the CEO. Assist in keeping executives up-to-date on company initiatives and issues. Work with the CEO and Executive Team to establish annual, quarterly, and monthly strategic priorities and facilitate workflows advancing them. Drive efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the CEO and the Executive Team. Manage CEO preparation for important internal and external meetings and events. Drive project structure and activities to plan and ensure alignment to organizational goals and responsibilities throughout the company on behalf of the CEO and Executive Team. Manage ad-hoc processes and strategic initiatives as needed on behalf of the CEO and Executive Team. Work Environment: Ability to tolerate a fast-paced, constantly changing environment where after-hours work is periodically required. Travel as needed (20%). The position is based in Paramus. Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering related field. Master's Degree or equivalent is preferred. 5+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or an equivalent field (consulting, strategy analyst, or business analyst backgrounds at growth companies preferred). Extensive track record of project leadership with a proven ability to track, prioritize and drive multiple concurrent projects to success. Proven ability to be flexible and adaptive to changing business environment. Equivalent time in education environment in a related field may be considered. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Detail-oriented strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving capabilities with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data and information. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels. Ability to take initiative, recommend improvements and make fair and consistent decisions that align with organizational and strategy and values. Proficient with large data sets and the tools used to manipulate those datasets. Excellent demonstrated project management skills. Strong ability to create easy-to-understand models for Executive Team and board-level consumption. Strong familiarity with finance and the ability to interpret, present and engage in financial reporting as well as create budgets, models, etc. Entrepreneurial and a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and complexity. Successfully navigate between tactical and strategic objectives. Additional Information
