As a Program & Workforce Development Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in our continued commitment to personal, professional, and community development. Position Summary The Program and Workforce Development Coordinator provides oversight to develop, implement, and coordinate contract training with Workforce and other agencies to provide additional revenue and enrollment support within assigned market areas for the local campuses.
The Program and Workforce Development Coordinator will work under the direction of the Program Development and Implementation Manager to assist with new program development processes, which includes research, planning, organization, communication, and customer service.

Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables Development and negotiation for WIOA training opportunities with assigned campus liaisons and campus leadership. Identify, develop, and market industry-based contracts for training with assigned campuses. Coordinate tracking and reporting of contract revenue and fulfillment requirements, to meet required financial outcomes.  Participate in appropriate related organizations. Timely submission of Workforce applications and/or contract renewals in conjunction with campus leadership. Assist campuses with relationship development. Research industry trends and identify impacts on client partnerships. Assist with carrying out feasibility studies and communication regarding advisory committee meetings. Assist with internal launch processes to include catalog revisions and system access. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Education / Experience Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a related field such as business administration, education, workforce development, or a relevant discipline. 3-5 years of experience with agency contracts and Workforce development. 3-5 years of sales experience in a revenue-driven position. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and customer service skills. Skills Financial Management: Skill in tracking, analyzing, and reporting contract revenue and fulfillment requirements to ensure financial objectives are met within assigned market areas. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information, negotiate contracts, communicate with stakeholders, and assist with internal launch processes. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate and finalize contracts with workforce agencies and other organizations to establish training partnerships and generate revenue. Research Skills: Capacity to conduct research on industry trends, client needs, and market demands to inform program development and decision-making processes. Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to providing excellent customer service to clients, campus leadership, and other stakeholders while upholding the organization's core values and mission. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer software and applications for data analysis, communication, and project management purposes. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, organizational needs, and market dynamics in the field of workforce development. Abilities Knowledge of Workforce Development : Understanding of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) regulations, guidelines, and processes related to training opportunities, contract negotiations, and funding mechanisms. Contract Development and Negotiation: Ability to develop, negotiate, and finalize contracts with workforce agencies and other organizations to establish training partnerships and generate revenue. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends, needs, and demands to identify and develop training programs that align with market requirements and address workforce gaps. Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with campus liaisons, industry partners, and workforce agencies to support enrollment and revenue goals. Research and Analysis: Capability to conduct research on industry trends, client needs, and market demands to inform program development, feasibility studies, and advisory committee meetings. Project Management: Skill in planning, organizing, and coordinating program development processes, including research, planning, organization, and communication, to ensure timely and successful implementation. Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to providing excellent customer service to clients, campus leadership, and other stakeholders while upholding the organization's core values and mission. Sales Experience: Experience in sales or revenue-driven positions, preferably within the education or training sector, to effectively market industry-based contracts and training opportunities. Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 10% as needed to meet with campus liaisons, attend related organizational events, and facilitate contract negotiations or training partnerships. Physical Demands Mobility: The coordinator may need to move around the campus or between different locations to oversee contract training and coordinate with workforce agencies. Communication: The role involves significant communication, both verbal and written, which may require sitting or standing for extended periods. Customer Service: Interacting with clients, agencies, and colleagues requires being on one's feet, possibly walking around to address inquiries or provide assistance. Organization and Planning: This role entails a lot of administrative work, which may involve sitting at a desk or computer for prolonged periods, organizing paperwork, and planning programs. Event Coordination: Depending on the nature of contract training or enrollment support events, the coordinator might need to set up spaces, move materials, or assist with event logistics. Travel: There may be occasional travel required to meet with clients, attend meetings, or participate in training sessions. Work Environment Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location.
