Production / Warehouse Associate

Production/Warehouse Associate  SmartTalent is hiring an experienced Production / Warehouse Associate for a major supplier of food and bakery ingredients across America. Our client is looking for individuals who have a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have previous food production & forklift experience. Previous or current forklift certification is a plus, but not required. 
LOCATION: Woodinville, WA
Pay: $20 - $25 DOE 
SCHEDULE:
8am – 5pm Monday – Friday
Occasional weekend work may be required if need arises

Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Assist with production during changeovers and startup processes 
• Disassemble and assemble machines and parts for cleaning 
• Manage temporary workers and provide clear directions when necessary 
• Demonstrate good leadership qualities and a positive attitude 
• Follow and maintain Food Safety Programs and GMP with Good Personal Hygiene 
• Clean and sanitize processing/packaging equipment and the plant environment 
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects and notify supervisors of any discrepancies 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse 
• Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders 
Qualifications:  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English (Spanish proficiency is a BIG PLUS) 
• Physically able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and lift 50 lbs bags 
• Production planning experience is a BIG PLUS 
• Ability to manage temp workers and give clear directions 
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a strong work ethic 
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently 
• 1-3 years of food production or manufacturing plant experience preferred 
• Forklift certified is a BIG PLUS 
• High School diploma or GED required (Associate Degree in Manufacturing is a BIG PLUS)
