Volt is immediately hiring a Production supervisor for a leading company in Algodones, NM
As a Production supervisor you will: Oversee Production shift and Production leads Demonstrate mechanical and organizational aptitude with ability to readily develop, coach and evaluate staff. Daily floor walks for 5S & Lean Continuous improvement & Sustainment Opportunities Work order due date monitoring Staffing of temp to hire and temporary workers including attendance tracking Coordinate changeovers, Machine Cleaning, 5S maintenance and improvement, and special projects Staff coaching to meet or exceed factory goals and team standards Attain Fork lift Train the Trainer certification (company-provided) Ensures Quality Standards are met on in-process and finished goods Development of cross training plan and progress on meeting cross training schedule Shift goal monitoring Shift Audits- Will occasionally audit Swing and Grave Shifts for compliance Assurance of proper allocation of resources to priority machines/flows. Production Supervisor candidates must meet the minimum requirements below: High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 1 year relatable experience Experience leading a team Good computer skills Excellent communication skills Have extraordinary problem solving skills Candidates selected must pass all pre-employment screening for consideration. The schedule is Grave Yard shift Sun-Thurs 11pm-7:30am- Train on Days
Pay for this position is $22.00-$25.00 + $1.25/hr Shift differential per hour
