027624 Production Scheduler & Purchasing Coordinator (Open) Job Description: Key Responsibilities Reviews work order specifications, sales orders, and other product documents to understand requirements. Manage the purchasing and inventory of raw materials Schedules and coordinates work between appropriate department colleagues so that productions are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials and supplies. Communicates production issues to customers and carriers. Collects information to produce required schedules and reports. Review master schedule and work orders to track the progress of production and review factors affecting the schedule. Incorporates and maintains safety observances. Performs other duties as assigned with responsibilities subject to change as volume increase. Education and Experience Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge and Skills Fundamental knowledge of the production process. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Solid organizational and computer skills, able to prioritize tasks. Good attention to detail. #LI-MK1
