Job Summary:The Production Manager will direct, plan, and coordinate activities concerned with production of ground support equipment assembly. Candidate will establish production priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors, utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems Monitors product standards and develops and implements quality control program and operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Monitors the production processes, adjusts or revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems, and ensures goods and services are produced efficiently and with the correct quantities, quality, and costOther duties pertaining field service may be assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Must be US citizen and meet any other federal program requirementsAbility to obtain CAC card, Secret Clearance preferredAble to manage logistics, as well as, physically move equipment up to 30 lbs in support of mission requirementsA general/working knowledge of MS Office products is requiredEducation and Experience:BSBA preferred and 10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experiencePhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
