Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Coordinate activities and training of shift mill operators and weldersInstruct teammates in proper work methods and standards.Monitor crew work quality and ensure adherence to safe work practices.Document and provide performance feedback and input into performance reviews.Ability to understand scheduling.Understand and implement all safety policies and procedures.Coach and mentor teammates on work instructions, JHA's and production equipment.Monitor production and production paperwork to ensure it is being followed and performed to standard.Ability to identify areas of improvement in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Lead will be an integral member of the Nucor Skyline team who understands the production environment, brings a strong and consistent work ethic, and demonstrates a commitment to the safety and success of the team.
