Production Laborer

Gowan Milling Blytheville is looking for a Production Laborer. This position is under direct supervision of the Production Operator/Formulator.Job Description:To perform labor functions that include but are not limited to the following:Production OperationsPackaging OperationsHousekeeping, which includes system cleanouts Any number of jobs other than what is described in this basic classificationRequired Qualifications:To perform this job satisfactory, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:Capable of following safety proceduresCapable of following work instructionsCapable of operating limited equipment and toolsCapable of working in confined spacesCapable of operating a forkliftWork Environment / Physical Requirements:Regularly required to remain in stationary position for prolonged periods of time.Occasionally required to move around the plant siteRegularly required to descend/ascend stairs.Regularly lift and/or move objects 5-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/ or move objects more than 50 lbs.Requires frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing.Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays The position rotates days to nights, 12 hour shifts, 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am Typical M-F; some Saturdays when neededMust be able to properly wear a full-face respirator.Must obtain a forklift license within 6 months of full time hire date.Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.Starting pay rate $19/hr
