Reports to (Title): Machine Shop Supervisor Job Code: KA02 Summary : PACCAR Winch is a division of PACCAR, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. PACCAR Winch manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets. PACCAR is a Fortune 500 company established in 1905. Our business is growing and we are seeking an experienced Product Handler (deburr). This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the schedule is 3rd shift, Monday-Friday 10:30PM – 7:00AM. Our facility is located at 1204 West 20th Street Okmulgee, OK 74447. Hourly Rate of Pay: $14.12-$21.03 per hour, with occasional overtime available. Benefits include: 401K with 5% matching, retirement pension plan, 75% company paid medical insurance, dental, vision and company paid life insurance. Company provided disability coverage as well as 12 paid holidays and paid vacation. Objective : The position of product handler is responsible for polishing, grinding, sanding, and other forms of finishing of metals using hand tools that include orbital sanders, polish wheels, and spray nozzles. Schedule: Monday thru Friday 10:30PM to 7:00AM Occasional overtime as needed. Pay Rate: $14.12 to $21.03 per hour $2.40 per hour night differential Starting wage is based upon experience.  Essential Functions / Responsibilities : Participate in seeking new and innovative ways to perform job functions.  Be capable of performing all assigned tasks from start to finish with minimal instruction. Develop good problem solving skills. Complete assignments on schedule while meeting or exceeding quality standards. Perform and assist others to perform to the set efficiency standards set forth by the company for your work group. Ensure the proper handling and disposal of all hazardous and nonhazardous waste used. Develop a high level of work organization skills.  Must be able to learn and maintain the proper chemical balances in the phosphate wash system. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED recipient. Must be able to follow all written and verbal work instruction, operations and procedures. Have the ability to use pneumatic tools for removal of burrs to meet production requirements. Must be able to read and understand blueprints.  Support plant safety policies and set a good example for others. Be able to recognize obvious irregularities in form, fit or function. Must to be able to operate the vibratory and sand blast machines. Basic computer skills required for the completion of time cards and production information as necessary in a computerized production management system. Must actively demonstrate good housekeeping practices in the work area as well as the entire facility. Must have the ability, knowledge and confidence to consistently meet or exceed the expected productivity standards for all work performed. Must be able to use material handling equipment (Raymond lifts, walkie stackers, low boys, etc.) to pull and position parts and materials necessary to perform your assigned tasks. Must have the ability and desire to work effectively and get along with others in a workgroup environment. Technical Skills: Must be able to use the following precision instruments: None Physical Demands and Work Environment: PACCAR Winch is a manufacturer of industrial winches. Employee is working around heavy machinery. Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment. Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time. Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head. Must be able to lift 60 pounds, push/pull a minimum of 75 pounds and stand on your feet 8-10 hours per day.
