This role is a key contributor in delivering the Hanes Full Potential plan for the Hanes Apparel business. The deliverables for this role will focus on collaboration with cross functional teams to plan and execute merchandise assortments while placing the consumer at the forefront of every decision.ResponsibilitiesOffering strategic analysisAs directed, conduct ad hoc competitor analysis/ data gathering (e.g., in-store benchmarking of competitor shelf space, price points)Work with junior sales teams to gather data in support of offering strategy decision-makingSell to the customerSupport merchandise and samples for sales meetings and photo shootsCreate sell-in sheets for customers, as directedMail samples out to customersSell to the consumerSupport analysis of consumer needs, preferences, and shopping behaviorsCoordinate project workflow for PDP content (imagery + copywriting) for our internal and external websitesCoordinate product samplings for review seedingWork with sales team to set up new itemsAnalyze business resultsLeverage analytic tools to report business results, optimize inventory and identify sales opportunities.QualificationsMinimum Education/ Experience: Bachelor's degree with 1+ years work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree1+ year of analytics, merchandise planning, marketing, or project management.Strong excel and analytical skillsBasic Photoshop and Illustrator skills preferredAbility to work autonomously and ensure projects are completed on time.Experience and focus on merchandising as a consumer advocate.Experience in collaborating and partnering cross-functionally to drive the business.Influence decision makers to move to execution using both quantitative and qualitative research.Problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skillsExcellent written/verbal communication and presentation skillsExperience working on multiple projects and prioritiesExperience in leveraging consumer data to drive sales growthJob Specific Competencies:Ability to use good judgmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse/global companyCritical thinking skills and the ability to analyze, summarize, and effectively present dataConsulting skills and the ability to influence stakeholdersThe ability to work effectively in a matrixed organizationProblem-solving skillsResults-drivenHigh-level proficiency in data analysis software packages.Keen attention to detailCore CompetenciesData FluencyWritten/verbal communication and listeningStrong interpersonal and relationship skillsTeamwork and collaborationResults orientationAdaptabilityCore ValuesPlay to Win - We expect to win, working together to drive results.
