McCormick is hiring a Procurement Senior Manager in a hybrid capacityThe role involves leading a team responsible for Procurement Supply Excellence Operations and Business Engagement PartnershipsThe position requires collaboration with Business Units across Consumer, Flavor Solutions, and Food Away from Home

Responsibilities
• Serve as the liaison between Procurement and the Vendor community, managing supplier performance• Drive Procurement's involvement in the Innovation and Commercialization Pipeline and Long-term Plan Strategies• Lead efforts to improve processes and ensure supply continuity• Identify and develop opportunities for value delivery at various levels• Lead efforts to optimize the inbound supply chain related to lean and six sigma principles• Serve as the bridge between Business Units and Centralized Procurement Category Management• Take an active role in developing and implementing Business Strategies• Communicate effectively with Executive and Senior Leadership• Contribute to Integrated Business Planning• Collaborate with Centralized Category Management teams to achieve optimal Total Cost of Ownership• Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing guidance and leadership
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting or applicable field of study• 8+ years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain environment• 5+ years of project management experience• Proven experience in leading major cost savings initiatives and cross functional teams• Thorough knowledge of industries for assigned categories• Good understanding of material functionality and supply chain effectiveness• McCormick product and business knowledge• Ability to assess and analyze moderately complex business opportunities• Ability to deal with diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities• Sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills• Professional-Project Management
