Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of maintenance department• Ensure compliance, safety, and best practices for maintenance procedures• Oversee maintenance by tracking work hours and maintaining work orders• Analyze and diagnose equipment problems and breakdowns• Coordinate work with other departments to minimize disruptions• Establish and implement maintenance guidelines• Supervise and lead maintenance processes and operations• Complete quality audits of technician work tasks• Track expenses and oversee maintenance budget• Maintain machinery and implement maintenance procedures
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent experience• General maintenance experience, preferably from a hotel• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels• Basic understanding of equipment and facilities to be maintained• Ability to maintain records and warranties• Ability to understand written directions• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently with minimal direction• Ability to perform a variety of duties with impending deadlines• Physical requirements: standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping
