This is a full-time position scheduled for 8-hour shifts, Monday -Friday between the hours of 7am-6pm. The starting pay range is $11-13 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.This role is onsite at our center located: 6549 Old Winter Garden Rd, Orlando FL, 32835.
The Preschool Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. What Youll Do:
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met

What We Need from You :
High School Diploma and/or GED or Degree in related field of study preferred
DCF 45 hour training required
CDA preferred
Minimum of 2 -3 years of professional early childhood education or experience
Must clear a full level II DCF background check
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
