We are looking for a Pre-Finisher/Assembler What we bring to you: $20.14-$24.94 + quarterly bonus (based on company performance) Woodgrain pays 75% of medical, dental and vision insurance 401k matching PTO (2 weeks and 8 paid holidays ) Perks such as tuition reimbursement and large discounts off Woodgrain products What our Pre-Finisher/Assembler does: Inspects doors for defects and irregularities prior to painting and/or staining Provides workload guidance to fellow employees to ensure proper flow and safe operations Paints and/or stains doors in accordance with product manufacturer and company guidelines Inspects all finished products for defects/irregularities and correct as necessary Maintains shop inventory and report discrepancies to Inventory Control Specialist Maintains a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety Other duties as described by manager What you need to have: High school diploma or GED and 0 - 3 years of experience or a combination of education and experience Experience and/or knowledge in paints, stains and pre-finish. Familiarity with door components, finishing products and assembly techniques. Ability to use manufacturing tools/machinery (chop saw, door machine, router, nail gun, etc.) Forklift certification (depending upon branch requirements) Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos.
