Join our team as a Pool Tech, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the safety of our aquatic facilities. Our company prides itself on providing top-notch recreational facilities, and as a Pool Tech, you will be instrumental in upholding our high standards. This role involves a variety of tasks, including preventive maintenance, repairs, water testing, and general building maintenance. Responsibilities Maintain and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on aquatic facilities, swimming pools, slides, and related equipment. Inspect all aquatic equipment daily to ensure proper working condition. Test water for various parameters and treat with appropriate chemicals to maintain safe and healthy water quality. Conduct regular maintenance on filter systems, inspect fixtures for leaks, and maintain documentation. Ensure safety equipment is properly inspected and maintained. Assist in preparing facilities for programs and events. Perform general building maintenance work as needed. Order and maintain inventory of necessary supplies, materials, and equipment. Prepare and submit various records and reports as required. Attend meetings, workshops, training, etc., as necessary to maintain job knowledge and skills. Qualifications Must possess or have the ability to obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification within six months of hire. Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification is a plus. Minimum of one year pool maintenance/service work experience required. High school diploma, GED, or specialized vocational training required. Must possess a valid state driver's license. Thorough knowledge of the principles, standard practices, methods, tools, materials, and techniques required to maintain and repair commercial or municipal swimming pools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and interpret manuals to determine proper operating conditions. Proficiency in safely operating tools, equipment, and measuring devices utilized within a typical aquatics maintenance setting. Benefits of working as a Pool Tech in Greenville, SC:
