Plant Controller Manufacturing

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic Plant Controller to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate accounting of business results and preparing internal financial statements.
Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the plant operations. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. Supervise and mentor a team including an Accountant and an Accounts Payable Coordinator. Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial performance. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in accounting processes and systems. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting. At least five (5) years of experience as a Controller responsible for financials and reconciliations in manufacturing (preferably automotive). Maximum of 10 years' overall experience. Five years' experience supervising at least 2 people. Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically costing modules. Experience with QAD, SAP, PLEX, or similar systems preferred.
