This job is responsible for planning, developing and implementing effective Physician and Provider sourcing and recruitment initiatives designed to ensure there is a stable and consistent workforce of primary and specialty care physicians and providers within Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) and CommonSpirit Health's (CSH) market based organizations (MBO's) in Oregon. An incumbent is responsible for all matters related to Physician and Provider recruitment and employment, including participating in the alignment of sourcing and recruitment activities to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Responsibilities include:
? Coordinating the "initial" and "ongoing" contact with applicants;
? Applicant assessment and screening;
? Scheduling candidates for interviews with appropriate stakeholders;
? Arranging prospective candidate's travel for interviews and site visits;
? Planning on-site visits, coordinating concierge services and escorting candidates during the visitations;
? Ensuring reference checks are completed;
? Soliciting and documenting comments/issues from candidates and interviewers;
? Answering questions and assuring closure of any follow-up actions;
? Preparation of EPIC checklist;
? Coordinating with LSG for PTRC approval and execution of contracts.
-Coordinates, in collaboration with senior leadership, the planning, development and implementation of current and future Physician/Provider recruitment strategies and initiatives.

? Oversees the preparation of appropriate recruiting documents.
? Prepares offers of employment and responds to inquires related to the terms and conditions of employment. . ? Works with stakeholders to facilitate achievement of strategic goals and objectives for the organization.
-Initiates and implements sourcing plans and related activities consistent with the needs and requirements of the organization.

? Establishes relationships with medical students, residents, fellows and currently practicing physicians and providers throughout the country.
? Sources candidates using the most advanced methodologies to achieve cost-effective and efficient recruitment outcomes.
? Coordinates advertising and public relations strategies to include special events related to physician and provider recruitment.
Compiles, analyzes and presents market information and perspectives to assist in the development of physical and provider recruitment initiatives.
? Prepares. (based on current market data) and distributes recruitment ads using a wide range of media types, venues and sources. -Identifies, develops, implements and maintains long-term relationships with external locum agencies to effectively expedite efficient locum coverage.

? Negotiates locum agreement rates and contract terms; coordinates and oversees expenses related to locum companies and any details related to locum coverage.
Maintains accurate statistics for monitoring and reporting of recruiting data for use by management in decision-making and to provide direction on future physician/provider recruitment strategies and related matters.
? Documents all functional activities in accordance with the current VMFH standards and practices. Performs related duties as required.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, marketing, human resources, healthcare administration or related field and two years of related experience that that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities. Work experience with physician recruitment is preferred. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would demonstrate attainment of the requisite knowledge/abilities sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position. Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
