Phoenix - Open Pit Mine Maintenance Mechanic

Position Description:The Phoenix Mine is looking for a Surface Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the Surface Mobile Maintenance Team at our Phoenix operations.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Surface Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Surface Mobile Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following:Service, maintain, and repair surface mining equipmentOperation of light and heavy equipment as neededTroubleshoot equipment and apply best practices to successfully repair and maintain top of the line mining equipmentQualifications:Three (3) or more years of experience maintaining heavy equipment in a mining, construction or farming environmentrequiredExperience maintaining diesel equipmentrequiredExperience maintaining electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on mobile equipmentrequiredAbility to read and understand schematics of mobile equipmentrequiredStrong problem-solving skillsrequiredProven excellent safety and attendance recordrequiredProven ability to work effectively in a team environment preferredDemonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the jobrequiredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.#LI-TC1Job Identification229368Posting Date2024-04-11Apply Before2024-04-25Job ScheduleFull timeJob CategoryMaintenanceLocationsBattle Mountain, NV, United States
