PERSONAL LINES UNDERWRITING ASSISTANT IMT Insurance is looking to hire for the position of Personal Lines Underwriting Assistant. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is accurate, analytical and enjoys working with customers both internally and externally in a fast-paced environment. A DAY IN THE LIFE Process all personal lines risks accurately and in a timely fashion while following proper underwriting procedures.Respond to billing, customer service and other underwriting related questions from agents and policyholders in a professional and timely manner.Complete miscellaneous departmental reports and assist in the underwriting of personal lines risks.Provide customer service to agents and policyholders via telephone, email and chat messaging.Performs other duties assigned.Works under immediate supervision.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Preferred candidates will have 0 to 2 years of insurance experience.Excellent math and/or analytical skills needed for processing/underwriting applications.Ability to listen and verbally communicate to the customer and with other team members in a pleasant and professional manner.Must be a self-starter with strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.Must possess the ability to work well with others.BENEFITS & PERKS IMT Insurance is committed to our employees and their families.
