Our Payroll Specialists are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to process payrolls for assigned clients. Essential Functions: Processes semi monthly and bi-weekly payrolls, including maintaining employee garnishments and PTO
Ensures that client is accurately paid and billed for each payroll
Initiates off cycle checks and voids
Prepares special payrolls including bonuses, stipends, 3rd party sick pay
Creates and distributes payroll reports as needed
Responds to office manager and employee inquiries; including training when needed
Enters employee and payroll changes into database
Education and Experience Requirements: Associates degree
Minimum three years payroll experience
Extraordinary attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Ability to develop, understand and follow written procedures
Computer literacy, prior experience with HRIS systems and/or other HR technology
Flexible, agreeable, team player
Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information
Must attend continuing education as set by the Director of Payroll
