This employee will also ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:The Payroll Manager will perform various functions in ensuring effective and efficient payroll processing, including garnishments, benefits, and consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.Processes payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, FTE changes, PTO accruals, leaves of absence under FMLA or other unpaid leave, merit increases, benefit deductions, 401(k) and other compensation adjustments.Perform Daily system checks to identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.Oversees Payroll Specialist and provide feedback to leadership.Create and run audit reports surrounding payroll and year-end processing.Completes monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax audits and filings.Research payroll regulatory changes and implement updates accordingly.JOB TYPE:Full-timeSHIFT: Monday – Friday 8am- 4pmHOURLY RATE:$75,000-$80,000 Salary (Exempt)This position is benefit eligible and has generous time off.
