Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Manager to join our dynamic team at Standvast. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a positive workplace culture by overseeing payroll and benefits processes for both exempt and non-exempt employees. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about fostering inclusivity and support within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for our employees.
- Uphold our commitment to fairness, transparency, and equality in all payroll processes.
- Proactively address any payroll discrepancies or issues to maintain employee satisfaction.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to payroll and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and generate insightful reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate employee records while prioritizing data protection and confidentiality.
Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:
- Utilize strong analytical skills to resolve payroll discrepancies and optimize benefits administration.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Proactive Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster transparent communication across all levels of the organization.
- Act as a resource for employees, providing guidance on payroll and benefits matters.
- Conduct training sessions to empower employees to maximize their benefits offerings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Payroll and Benefits Manager role or similar position.
- Thorough understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, and relevant regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in payroll and HRIS software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with multi-state payroll environments is preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems like Dayforce.
