Responsibilities JOIN OUR TEAM! Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as an Patient Accounts Representative. The Patient Accounts Representatives is t o identify, record and summarize financial data related to business transactions, events and decisions: to report and interpret data necessary for sound judgments and decisions by managers.  Works with department supervisors to ensure correct insurance reimbursements.  Maintains daily census sheets and census record in timely manners.
ABOUT SPRING MOUNTAIN TREATMENT CENTER: Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24-hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs. 
Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs. We provide a caring and healthy environment that gives individuals a chance to make positive changes.

Qualifications RE QUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred. Two to four years' experience in the field or related area. Thorough knowledge and skills application of basic accounting principle Must be able to meet deadlines and the needs of accuracy in work produced.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures, within the areas of Billing, Collecting and Follow up. Must have skills for the following: 10-key calculator, Personal Computer, Photocopier, telephone & facsimile. Good communication skills, i.e., reading, writing, and speaking Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and patient accounting system. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations and Policy and Procedures Good leadership qualities which includes self-control, patience, and empathy New hires are required to attend 1 full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check) EEO STATEMENT: All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
