Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain customer relationships• Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction• Ensure availability of specialty parts for customers• Implement telemarketing and product promotion programs• Handle customer complaints requiring management attention• Develop and enforce guidelines for exceptional customer satisfaction• Handle customer service telephone inquiries• Consolidate relationships with trade customers• Improve customer/Parts Department interactions and transactions• Review stock ordering practices• Review department operations and storage processes• Ensure accuracy between inventory and computer records• Develop and administer wholesale parts program• Identify and support methods/process improvement• Plan and implement new business development programs• Maintain clean and professional environment• Strive for teamwork and harmony within department• Communicate clearly and concisely with enthusiasm• Build productive working relationships within and across departments• Take initiative to help others• Promote cooperation and teamwork among employees• Resolve employee concerns and conflicts• Refresh accessory displays• Coordinate with Sales Manager and Service Manager• Hold department meetings• Attend and participate in manager meetings
Requirements
• Parts management experience required• General Motors parts experience is a plus• CDK experience is a plus• Ability to withstand prolonged computer usage and/or data entry• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for prolonged periods• Ability to work in various conditions both indoors and outdoors• Ability to kneel, bend, and/or reach above the shoulders• Ability to move throughout parts shelves and climb to obtain parts• Ability to lift up to seventy-five pounds• Ability to climb at least two flights of stairs
