Job title: Outside Sales Representative Location: Must be based in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area (80% travel involved) Compensation: $75,000 + 10% Bonus + Vehicle + Benefits listed below Industry: Steelwork, Highway Safety Are you a hungry Outside Sales Representee / Account Manager with a passion for sales, and account management in the engineering sector? This is the position for you. Client: Our client is a leading engineering firm that supplies highway safety products to new and existing construction partners. So a civil engineering or a technical background would be a plus.
Responsibilities: The Sales Professional's primary responsibility is to serve customers timely through the sale and rental of products and services. Telephone prospective customers and solicit business. Attend regional conferences and seminars. Negotiate prices with customers, within established limits. Remain in close communication with Service Team and Logistics to ensure deadlines are met. Experience: 3 years of sales experience, strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. 3 years of experience in the construction industry and sales and customer service success, in either vertical, commercial, or highway/traffic safety. Experience in Traffic Safety, and understanding of MUTCD standards. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. 3 years of equipment rental experience, with an emphasis on safety-related products preferred.
