Outside Golf Services Manager
Country Club in Wilmington, North Carolina is looking for an Outside Golf Services Manager.
Position Overview:
Oversee Outside Golf Operations to ensure the highest standard of customer service is upheld while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Create an experience so members and guests feel at ease and enjoy their entire day.
Essential Responsibilities:
•Daily Activities:
oOversee daily range set up and upkeep.
oAssist members and their guests with any and all requests, including interpretation of Golf Policies and Procedures.
oMaintain a clean staging area for carts.
oPrepare for daily activities with cart, pushcart, and bag staging.
oKeep record of daily players, those who take carts, and those who use the driving range.
oPerform Starter and/or Ranger duties as needed.
oAttend Staff Meetings.
oContact ClubCar representative with any issues concerning cart fleet
oKeep detailed cart maintenance records and record any damages.
•Supervisory Responsibilities:
oOversee a cart/bag staff of approximately 15 employees.
oDevelop staff schedule up to three weeks out.
oAssist Head Golf Professional in interviewing and hiring cart staff.
oTrain new employees to standard set and monitor to uphold standard.
oCommunicate all special events with cart staff.
oSchedule a minimum of four yearly staff meetings on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs. Ideal candidates will be reliable, punctual, professional, and able to successfully work in a large group/team environment. Candidates will have effective listening and communication skills and a strong desire to provide excellent service.
All candidates will work to ensure the fulfillment of the club's mission to provide a warm and friendly environment for our members and guests, through commitment and dedication with a personal touch.
Compensation:
$40,000.00 per year.
