Order Management & Customer Service Coordinator Location Anderson, SC : POSITION SUMMARY Vertiv is hiring an Order Management & Customer Service Coordinator in Anderson, SC to manage and coordinate key relationships with Vertiv's enterprise customers and internal stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include ensuring proper order management process flow, data tracking, and cross-functional coordination with key stakeholders to meet customer needs and expectations. This position requires the candidate to be detailed-oriented and process-driven and is dedicated to proactively anticipating customer needs through communication and problem resolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain orders and expedite or escalate when necessary and track shipments in an accurate and timely manner. Responds promptly to customer or internal inquiries regarding order status Coordinates with other internal departments to drive issue resolution regarding order status, invoicing, shipping dates or mis-shipped product Utilizes problem solving skills to manage customer orders and ensure applicable policies are followed, terms and conditions are met, escalations are resolved, and invoices are correctly issued Supports day-to-day post-sales order transactions (e.g., credits, returns, order entry) and reporting of customer issues Maintain relevant customer, account, and opportunity information through various databases. Identify areas of improvement with the customer experience and work with leadership to implement solutions. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Ensures proper application of departmental processes and procedures to include system data integrity, data accuracy, and compliance QUALIFICATIONS Must have effective communications skills, both verbally and written, face to face and via phone with customer and sales representatives Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented MS Office proficient; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel preferred Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment 3+ years previous customer service or technical experience preferred Some science or tech/engineering background preferred EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
