As our Operations Manager, you'll be the leader of our pack, overseeing all pet care, client care, and canine training operations at our pet resort. You'll ensure that every pet and their human receive the VIP treatment they deserve, all while leading our team to new heights of excellence. Experience in the pet care industry is preferred, but a love for pets and a knack for leadership are a must! Responsibilities: Lead and supervise all aspects of pet care, client care, and canine training operations at our pet resort. Ensure the highest standards of pet safety, comfort, and well-being are maintained at all times including emergency preparedness. Oversee the scheduling and assignment of staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal efficiency. Map operational processes to optimize resource allocation and quality of services. Train and develop our pet care team to deliver exceptional service and care to our furry guests. Coordinate with the management team to develop and implement operational policies and procedures. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to support all operations. Manage operational budget and practice cost control measures to maximize efficiency and profitability. Handle client inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in pet care and canine training. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where team members feel valued and empowered. Sustain a systems driven operation by creating, implementing, and optimizing systems for consistency and productivity. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to support pet care operations. Monitor and maintain the facility and grounds to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for pets, staff, and clients. Understand basic facility systems and ensure proper maintenance of our building and equipment. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to address maintenance and repair needs in a timely manner. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address any issues or concerns. Handle other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in the pet care industry is preferred, but not required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional client service. Knowledge of pet care best practices, including safety protocols and behavioral training techniques. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities with ease. Knowledge of basic facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems. Ability to troubleshoot and address minor maintenance issues independently. A passion for pets and a commitment to providing the best possible care and experience for our furry guests. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support operational needs. At least six (6) years of experience successfully managing people in a service-driven environment.
