Position Summary

The Operational Improvement Project Manager (OIPM) is responsible for facilitating limited-term clinical innovation projects in the Department of Family Medicine. This position is responsible for establishing key metrics and plans for optimizing Family Medicine's clinical operations transition toward value-based care (VBC).

This position is responsible for understanding and managing the project needs, establishing access to data sources required to evaluate progress toward goals, and communicating results to Departmental leaders and operational managers. The position makes recommendations to senior leadership and managers on appropriate metrics and reporting methods in support of VBC operational improvement projects. The position requires knowledge of department goals and objectives as well as available data sources. The position prepares analyses, reports, and dashboards in support of operational improvement projects.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Must have experience with data analysis and primary care operational management.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Management experience, preferably within an academic medical environment is preferred. Master's degree in business or health administration, data science, or information and library sciences preferred.
