Responsibilities
• Provide triage, first aid, and/or referral to outside medical providers• Minimize the risk of injury by promoting awareness and education• Maintain records of care provided and develop care plans for injured associates• Facilitate workers' compensation and return to work process• Provide daily activity logs and shift reports• Interact with associates and managers to coach on at-risk work habits• Maintain a clean and orderly environment• Participate in special projects and ad hoc tasks• Be willing to train others in first aid, CPR, and AED certification• Work flexible shifts and communicate effectively
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Valid certifications in AED, First Aid, and CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross• Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic Certification OR current valid Emergency Medical Technician Basic Certification OR military medical technician experience OR care provider role with Bachelor's degree in relevant field
