Join our team and discover your passion.Job DescriptionAHRC NYC is looking to hire a Part-Time Occupational Therapist for their MANHATTAN and BRONX programs. This position has a pay rate of between $35-$70 per hourResponsibilities:- Assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being to determine their occupational therapy needs- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy techniquesQualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist- Experience working with diverse patient populations- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting- Experience in case management is a plusAdditional InformationAHRC New York City is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
