Plan for and instruct courses in the area of Nursing . Design and implement relevant and progressive curriculum. Deliver high-quality instruction through the planning and implementation of effective learning strategies and environments. Create performance-based assessments aligned with competencies through formative and summative measures. Promote student success through timely communication, growth-based feedback, and implementation of strategies that meet the needs of diverse learners. Bachelor's degree in Nursing and master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university or currently enrolled in a master's program for Nursing. Current RN licensure in Wisconsin or ability to obtain prior to teaching assignment. River Falls positions: Current RN licensure in Minnesota or ability to obtain prior to teaching assignment. Minimum of 2 years (4,000 hours) of occupational experience as a registered nurse, of which at least 1 year (2,000 hours) shall be within 5 years prior to date of hire. One year (2,000 hours) of recent occupational experience may be waived if the applicant has at least 2 years of post-secondary teaching experience in nursing within 5 years prior to date of hire. This position may include teaching online and requires expertise in integrating technology. Prior teaching or training experience preferred. Qualified per CVTC requirements at time of, and throughout, employment as an instructor. Must also meet and maintain Higher Learning Commission (HLC) requirements, Faculty Quality Assurance Standards (FQAS), and/or other job specific licensing standards.
