Description
RESEARCH MANAGER Responsible for the management of multiple research projects. Designs and implements research protocols and policies and procedures. Directs the performance of study audits and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with all regulatory aspects of research. Manages project organization including coordination of internal and external regulations and guidelines affecting clinical research. Oversees data collection and reporting. Negotiates contracts with internal/external funding entities and may have fiscal responsibility for grant budgets. Establishes and maintains liaisons within UAB, multicenter cities, industry, and governmental agencies. Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates, disciplines, and discharges subordinate personnel . Annual Salary: $77,640 - $126,170 Qualifications
Associate's degree in Nursing and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
