As a Nurse Manager at Mary's Woods, you will successfully lead a diverse team of thoughtful care staff and manage the oversight and implementation of person-centered care while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and meeting the quality assurance standards at Mary's Woods.
Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful: Demonstrate knowledge of resident medical diagnoses and current medical status and use this in documenting the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents Responsible for oversight of all residents' status including temporary and significant Change of Condition Responsible for leading care staff team by guiding, mentoring and managing performance Provide leadership to staff by playing an active role in the hiring process which includes onboarding, training and coaching Engage your team in person-centered care and work with the other key stakeholders to create an environment that allows the residents to thrive and have meaningful daily activities Demonstrate substantial knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia causing diseases and disease progression Understand, comply with, and promote all rules regarding resident rights. This is an exempt, full-time position typically working Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and/or weekends required as needed.
