Network Administrator

JOB OVERVIEW Everest Search Partners is seeking a Network Administrator for a fast growing client in the Travel and Hospitality industry. As a Network Administrator your role will be foundational in supporting our IT infrastructure. You will assist in managing network equipment, maintaining PCs, and contributing to various IT Projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, configuration and implementation of networks. Assist in updating and maintaining network hardware, including servers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Support the monitoring of virtual machines to ensure optimal performance. Assist in monitoring, repairing, and updating corporate PCs, including remote systems. Assist in responding to security alerts and performing routine system maintenance. Aid in interfacing with external support entities and acting as a supportive liaison for network-related communications. Assist in managing backups and ensuring data integrity. QUALIFICATIONS: Degreed in Information Technology or Computer Science. 5+ years of experience in a similar role with medium or large-scale organization to include multiple sites. Holder of ITIL Foundation is preferable. Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office 365 support. Experience with NAS, Sonicwall and HP switches. Must have hands-on experience in TCP/IP Networking, Firewall, VPN, WAN/LAN network security. Good communication skills, including verbal and writing skills. A good team player and have strong change management skills and experience. Good organizational and management skills. Positive attitude, Self-motivated, High sense of responsibility. High level of attention to detail. Strong sense of business urgency, passionate to achieve Operation Excellence Able to work independently and under pressure.
