JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the creation and optimization of existing custom code and scripts in NetSuite. This job will
also entail participating in the requirements gathering process, solution architecture, development, testing,
and deployment, including documentation, training, and support of solutions. Position will develop custom
saved searches, optimize existing saved searches, creation and optimization of workflows within NetSuite.
Position will be responsible for designing and developing scripted solutions from business requirements
and oversee the testing of the solution through deployment. Effective communications with team members,
other associates, and outside contractors will be required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Possess the ability to design and maintain applications on the NetSuite system from interpreted
business requirements.
2. Interface with outside ERP implementation team resources to address customization and
configuration requirements based on business needs to achieve overall project goals.
3. Participate in cross-functional internal team (Implementation Team) to build/manage technology
platform from design through delivery overcoming challenges and unknowns.
4. Develop implementation plans, reports, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure
operational reliability. Train staff on how to use new software and reports developed and/or
acquired.
5. Participate in the collection and documentation of business requirements for integration and
implementation into ERP system.
6. Participate in the Identification and resolve issues by recommending modifications to business
processes.
7. Participate in the analysis of workflows, process improvements, and business practices to
streamline business operations.
8. Participate in problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel
and/or organizations, and perform troubleshooting as required.
9. Staying current with technological developments in business application technology and providing
recommendations for Cross Company to take advantage of new technology.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent on-the-job
experience.
2. 3+ years experience as a web developer, software developer, software engineer or similar role.
3. 2+ years experience in Netsuite development/administration
4. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
5. Proficient in script creation (Suitelets, Restlets, Scheduled, Map/Reduce)
6. Proficient in suitescript 1.0 and 2.0
7. Proficient in an SQL language and basic database fundamentals
8. Experience with business requirements, technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and
implementation of customizations within software environments.
9. Experience developing reports, workflows and metrics within software environment.
10. HTML/CSS experience would be a benefit.
11. Experience in client facing roles is desirable
