WCIV is hiring a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ)Responsibilities include reporting, shooting, and editing news storiesExpected to produce daily content on various platforms
Job seniority: associate level
Responsibilities
• Report, shoot, and edit news stories• Enterprising story ideas• Develop contacts• Produce daily content on various platforms• Work independently• Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years reporting experience• Experience with live shots• Experience with Live-U is a plus• Journalism degree is preferred
Key Skills Needed
• Sharp news judgment• Ability to tell an NPPA style story• Excellent technical skills• Ability to work well independently• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
