We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MRI Technician to join our team. As an MRI Technician at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in performing high-quality MRI scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during the scanning process Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any malfunctions or issues Administer contrast agents as needed for enhanced imaging Demonstrate proficiency in various MRI techniques and protocols Accurately document patient information and scan results in electronic medical records Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality Continuously expand knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities Requirements Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field Certification as an MRI Technician from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure as an MRI Technician Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technician Thorough understanding of MRI scanning techniques, protocols, and safety measures Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to work independently and in a team environment Familiarity with electronic medical records systems Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Below is the job details;

Pay Rate: very attractive will be discussed in the interview

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Shift Time: ********
Schedule Details Mon to Friday
Weekend Rotation: Only when on call
On-Call Requirements: Rotate with rest of the team. Every 5th or 6th week, mon to fri ******** , weekend 24 hours Sat and Sun
Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs.
Floating Requirements: None
Experience Required: 1-2 years MRI technologist experience. Must have a minimum of 1 year travel exp.
License Required: ARRT
Certificates Required: BLS
Equipment used: Siemens 1.5 T Sola, Cerner, Unity PACS, Inteview PACS
