In addition, the Company has interests in several precious metals' exploration projects throughout North America.Coeur Rochester, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. based near Lovelock, Nevada is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join our team at the Rochester Mine.Position SummaryReporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent the Reliability Engineer will be working with both Mine Maintenance and Mine Operations teams to enhance the availability and effectiveness of mine equipment assets. The primary role of this position is to provide technical support in the form of data analysis, and root cause investigation.Be instrumental in the multi-functional implementation of a reliability centered maintenance (RCM) program, which encompasses systems, process, procedures, standards, critical metrics, analysis, and tools that will improve value for mobile assets. Ensure sustainability of the Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) techniques that are currently used and any to be implemented.Develop the asset strategy (identifying asset criticality to the business, setting service strategy based on performance.Provide recommendations to design to improve life cycle costs.Lead/Work within cross functional teams including engineering, maintenance, operations to support continuous improvement initiatives.Forge the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach within the mobile maintenance department.What you will doMaintain and validate downtime reporting database and KPI's.Drive the predictive and preventative maintenance process, including data translation and analysis (including report generation).Identify, evaluate, and scope reliability improvement opportunities.Collaborate with management teams and key partners in the development of budgets as well as production and shutdown plans.Conduct reliability analysis and improvements (analyzing trends, critical metrics – MTTR, MTBF, FFPM, data analysis, bad actor failure analysis and optimization).Lead the use of improvement processes to improve the performance of assets.Actively coach and train condition monitoring and lubrication technicians.Ensure efficient and reliable operations of mine equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of all assets.SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred, or substantial technical background in surface mobile maintenance equipment.Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in mine equipment maintenance required.Experience with Reliability tools (UT, Thermography, CBM, Oil analysis interpretation, RCA, KPI metrics analysis, developing asset services strategies)Proficient with Excel, Cat SIS and oil analysis interpretation Excellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skillsSoftware skills in of MS Office products and CMMS systems (Oracle), Edge, Dingo Trakka, Oil commander, VIMS/VHMS.Self-starter and a high-performance attitudeSelf-motivated Good work ethics and a strong attitude towards safety.Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment.
