Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life forall.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.We are currently looking for individuals who are interested inlearning more aboutcompleting anapprenticeshipwith Micron.As an apprentice, Micron will payfor your degree whileyouearnvaluablehands-on experienceat our world-classFabin Boise, Idaho!Micron'sRegistered ApprenticeshipProgramprovidesan "earn while you learn" model that is flexible based on your current school schedule, allowing you to directly applyyourlearned materialwhileat the same timegaininghands-on,on-the-job trainingat our facility.During your apprenticeship you willhave the opportunitytowork closely in partnershipwithourproduction and engineering team members from various areas,in and out of the Fab.We are looking forProcess Technician, Equipment Technician, and/or LabTechnician apprentices to join our team starting this summer!If you are interested in learning more about our apprenticeship program, pleaseapplytoday!Responsibilities:Completes all required safety training and conducts all workin accordance withsafety policies?Improves area safety behaviors and processes for the work environment?Contributes to continuous improvement and problem-solving effortsPerforms andfacilitatesaudits andsubmitsgood catches on safety issuesPartners with Production and ShiftEngineers/Techniciansto execute daily prioritiesAccurately documents the work performed and current tool statusesQualifications:High School Diploma/GEDEnrolled,or willing to enroll,in required Related Technical Instruction (RTI) program offered byCollege of Western Idaho, through the AdvancedMechatronics Engineering Technolo Certificate orAAS degree program.Basicto IntermediatePC skillswith MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel,OneNoteand PowerPoint?experience?Must be willing toworkany shifton a rotating schedule(allowing for relativeflexibilityaround yourschool schedule).Solid time management and prioritization skillsAbility to multi-tasking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentEnjoy working in a team environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a cleanroom or an electro-static discharge (ESD) sensitive environment??Ability to troubleshoot intermediate problems andidentifyand resolve root causes????Ability to follow basic procedures and work with minimal supervision???As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
