Full job description **Onsite position*** Deadline of application: 5/20/2024 As a Merchandise Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of internal and third-party product placement and mix for each retail location. Your primary responsibility will be to forecast, plan, and manage inventory levels for various product categories to meet sales, margin, and turnover objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, retail, finance, and supply chain to develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize historical data, market trends, and promotional calendars to accurately set projections of inventory levels. Develop and maintain inventory plans that align with sales targets, margin goals, and company strategies. Determine optimal inventory levels, reorder points, and replenishment strategies for each SKU. Collaborate with Retail and buying teams to develop assortment plans based on customer preferences, market trends, and financial objectives. Allocate merchandise to stores and distribution centers based on projections, store classifications, and inventory levels necessary for each retail store. Optimize allocation strategies to maximize sales and minimize stockouts. Develop seasonal merchandise plans and assortment strategies to capitalize on seasonal trends and consumer preferences. Work with marketing, supply chain, and retail teams to plan and execute promotional strategies. Ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to support promotional events and sales campaigns. Monitor and analyze sales performance per retail location, inventory levels, and market trends for retail and the OPSF. Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams including retail, buying, finance, and supply chain. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment on inventory plans and strategies. Participate in and identify opportunities to improve the S&OP process, enhance projection accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and streamline production planning. Present data and analysis results and suggestions to appropriate teams Proactively identify other opportunities in the data sets and present them to team members Collaborate with IT teams to identify, evaluate, implement, and optimize technology solutions that support operational objectives Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3 -5 years of previous experience in retail planning, complex inventory analysis and management, or related roles. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Proficiency in data analysis and projection techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Proficient computer skills including proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite, and experience with retail planning software is a plus. Must have a MED badge PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous cannabis industry experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Remaining in a stationary position, standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods Ascending/descending ladders, stairs, ramps Ability to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or items Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs Ability to work in the same area as cannabis and have direct contact with cannabis material This is an Onsite position.



COMPENSATION: Pay range: 60,000 to 70,000; actual pay will be determined based on qualifications Accrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2 weeks per year. Health, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance plans are available. Retirement plans are available after 6 months of employment.
