We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide strength-based, solution-focused therapeutic services to our clients. This role involves working closely with our clinical and case management teams, and requires a deep understanding of our clients' needs, strengths, and treatment goals. Responsibilities Provide strength-based, solution-focused therapeutic services in the community. Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' strengths, diagnoses, treatment goals, and treatment plans. Assess clients' strengths, resources, and goals within the first 30 days of treatment and provide ongoing strength-based planning and treatment. Create an Individualized Crisis Recovery Plan for each client within 30 days to reduce risk of harm and restore stability. Participate in collaborative meetings with staff, other agencies, and community supports as needed. Provide crisis intervention services according to agency policies and procedures. Regularly communicate clients' status, including changes in mood or functioning, medical issues, and any crisis or health and safety issues. Produce effective, clinical documentation of every contact with clients. Attend all office trainings and regular clinical supervision sessions. Actively participate in all evaluations conducted by the organization. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work or a mental health related field. DMH credential as a Mental Health Therapist. A minimum of fifteen (15) hours of graduate level course work and/or practicum experience in applied intervention strategies/methods designed to address behavioral, emotional and mental disorders. Proficiency in using computer interfaces for documentation and billing purposes. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
