Responsibilities
• Provide exemplary customer service to all members, callers, volunteers, and visitors• Welcome members and guests with a warm smile, using their names, and expressing gratitude• Ask questions, use active listening, and provide facility tours to help prospective members• Build relationships with members and foster connections within the YMCA community• Utilize operations software for member check-ins, program and membership registration, and payment processing• Stay knowledgeable about all YMCA and Family Wellness programs and services• Handle membership and safety concerns and address any issues promptly and appropriately
Requirements
• Must display YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility• Must obtain CPR/AED/FA certification• Must be 18 yrs or older and able to stand and/or sit for at least 4 hours at a time every day• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally• Must possess the ability to walk and climb stairs and navigate through the facility• Must be able to talk, hear, and see regularly
